						Doug Dawson
							Doug Dawson, Mill Valley's City Manager, retired this year. At a community appreciation gathering at the Art Club on June 30th, 1999, Doug was lauded for his competent and joyful work on behalf of Mill Valley's citizens. Among Doug's accomplishments was the encouraging oversight of Horse Hill's acquisition and its transfer to the County as permanent open space. Save-Horse-Hill Committee member Susan Cumming presented Doug with a memento copy of the County's Open Space Preserve gate sign and a card thanking him on behalf of the horses.
